a man terrorizes McDonald’s patrons in New York City in shocking video

On the evening of Saturday, September 17, 2022, a video of a fight that took place at a McDonald’s restaurant in New York City was uploaded to the internet and quickly gained widespread attention. The man in the video, identified by the New York Police Department as Michael Palacios, went on a rampage inside the cafe with an ax after a verbal confrontation got out of hand.

At approximately 2:25 in the morning, the suspect, who is 31 years old and hails from the Bronx, got into an argument with three other males. The argument, which had initially taken place verbally, quickly turned into a physical altercation. After some time had passed, Palacios grabbed an ax from his rucksack in a nonchalant manner and began to threaten other people who were present at the McDonald’s outlet.

An eyewitness was able to record on tape the ax-wielding Palacios wreaking havoc inside a Delancey Street McDonald’s location, terrifying customers and inflicting extensive property damage. The video was captured by the witness. Even while still holding the ax in his hand, he went up to a terrified woman and stated to her:

“Have no fear of me; your fear should be directed toward him!”

A number of observers urged him to take a deep breath and relax. The abrupt, violent outburst did not result in any injuries for any of the people who were present at the McDonald’s restaurant, as stated by the police.

A user named Shakes McGoo, who was also present during the chaos, wrote on TikTok as follows:

“New York City is usually a nice place for some disorder and mayhem. He didn’t damage anybody, but might have been ugly!”

Fox News Digital was told by a representative for the NYPD that:

“The suspect pulled an ax from his rucksack and menaced the unknown individuals. The suspect acted deliberatively in causing harm to the establishment’s property. The man in question was brought into custody by the officers who responded. During the search that was conducted as part of his legitimate arrest, an additional knife was found in his rucksack. Victims did not disclose any injuries.”
The NYPD conducted an arrest on Palacios, who was subsequently charged with one count of criminal mischief, three charges of menacing, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

Kathy Hochul’s New York describes the McDonald’s incident as “typical”

Congressman Lee Zeldin, a Republican, was able to comment on the sky-high crime rates in New York City, which are managed by Kathy Hochul, a Democrat, after the chaos that occurred on Friday, which was just a few centimeters away from being dangerous. On Saturday, the wannabe lawmaker sent out the following tweet:

“In the New York of Kathy Hochul, the danger on the streets has only increased over time. This will no longer be the case under my watch as soon as I take office as the next Governor of New York!”
