Notably, the employee imposed “judicial sentences” for allegedly “violating” the occupying power’s current “laws”. For example, the “judge” of the occupying power has grossly violated Ukrainian law and international humanitarian law.

Based on the evidence collected, SBU investigators charged the suspect under Part 1 of Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which carries a prison sentence of 8 to 12 years.
