Is Star Wars Battlefront 2 Crossplay Or Cross Platform? How Long To Beat Star Wars Battlefront 2 Achievements
Is Star Wars Battlefront 2 Crossplay Or Cross Platform?
One of the main reasons why Star Wars Battlefront 2 is not cross-platform compatible in 2023 is due to the absence of a unified platform that can provide a consistent gaming experience across different gaming consoles. Despite the demand from fans, it has been a technical challenge to achieve parity across all platforms. Currently, players can only enjoy the game with others who have the same gaming console, as crossplay between PC and Xbox One is not yet possible. While Battlefront 2 supports cross-gen play, players on different gaming platforms such as PC and PS5 cannot play together. As cross-platform play is not available, players on different consoles, such as PS5 and Xbox One, cannot join each other’s games. However, there is hope for cross-platform support in the future.

Does Star Wars Battlefront Have A Campaign?
The Star Wars: Battlefront series features a campaign mode that tells a story within the Star Wars universe. This mode is present in all games except for DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront. Only DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront II contains campaign missions that are considered canon since Lucasfilm’s reset of the Star Wars canon. Each campaign mission requires completing certain objectives to progress through the story. In Pandemic’s Star Wars: Battlefront, the main objective is to capture all Command Posts or eliminate the enemy reinforcement count. However, later games, such as Pandemic’s Star Wars: Battlefront II, have more diverse objectives of varying difficulty, including retrieving objects or protecting areas.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 All Maps
The locations where game modes take place, or the levels used in campaigns, are referred to as maps in the Star Wars: Battlefront series. These maps are usually based on locations from the Star Wars universe and are designed to suit the game modes they are used for. For example, smaller modes like Cargo or Strike in DICE’s series, which involve fewer than 20 players, use maps with smaller areas and close-quarter combat, while larger modes like Galactic Assault or Capital Supremacy, with a maximum player count of 40, use much larger maps with sequential phases.
In addition to multiplayer maps, maps can also be levels in campaigns or other special modes. In Pandemic Studios’ and Rebellion Developments’ series, campaign levels often use multiplayer maps as a base. However, in DICE’s Battlefront II, most campaign levels are unique and have little resemblance to the multiplayer maps in terms of structure. Some maps in DICE’s series are also only available in special missions, such as Endor Chase, where the player controls a Scout Trooper on a 74-Z Speeder Bike and explores a large, linear map set on Endor.
