However, he is now best known for the Gift Grub segments, which Rosenstock created with Paul McLoone, a radio host with Today FM and also the frontman of the Northern Irish pop-punk/new-wave band, The Undertones, in 1999 and when McLoone worked as a producer for the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show. These segments first appeared on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM in May 1999.

Rosenstock is a married father of two kids. One of Ireland’s most renowned Irish language poets, Gabriel Rosenstock, is a member of INNTI alongside Liam Muirthile, Nuala N’Dhomhnaill, and Michael Davitt (also a poet). German doctor and author George Rosenstock was a Schleswig-Holstein native. Out of guilt, he stopped speaking German soon after the war.
