Strictly Come Dancing 2022: Start Date

The revised start time for the opening episode of this season has been made known by Strictly Come Dancing. The series was scheduled to premiere on September 17, however, as a show of respect in the wake of the Queen’s passing, the premiere date has been postponed. For its 20th season, the award-winning programme will once again air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Have your glad rags ready because famous participants will once more be showcasing their dance talents. So far, paralympic swimmer Ellie Simmonds, actor Will Mellor, musician Matt Goss, and singer-actress Kym Marsh have all been confirmed as competitors. When does Strictly Come Dancing premiere? What Time Is Strictly Come Dancing On Tonight?

On Friday, September 23 at 7 p.m., Strictly Come Dancing will make its broadcast debut on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The shows will go on till 8:50 p.m. Tess Daly, and Claudia Winkleman will be back to host the pairing of the 15 new celebrities with professional partners and the introduction of the four new dancers. John Legend, Rose and Giovanni, as well as experts, will all perform. The live performances are scheduled to start on Saturday, September 24, at 6:45 p.m.

The Strictly 2022 cast is now complete, with 15 celebrities prepared to put on their dancing shoes and go to Elstree. The first two celebrities to be revealed were actor Will Mellor and former Corrie star Kym Marsh. Strictly Come Dancing New Professionals 2022

With four new dancers added for the 20th season, the professional lineup for the 20th series will be among the largest for Strictly. Last year, Janette Manrara departed the competition to begin her new job as the host of It Takes Two, which was formerly led by Zoe Ball, while Anton Du Beke left the competition to join the judging panel, where he replaced Bruno Tonioli. The number of professional dancers on the show increased to 18 in the 19th season with the addition of Kai Widdrington, Cameron Lombard, Jowita Przystal, and Nikita Kuzmin.

Strictly Come Dancing 2022 Judges

Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, and Shirley Ballas have all been confirmed as the judges for Strictly Come Dancing 2022. Last year, Anton took Bruno Tonioli’s spot on the judging panel, and for 2022, he will remain there permanently.
