Vishwanath Chatterjee was born in Allahabad, UP, on October 5th. He is a good actor who has been in a number of Bollywood films.

He has had small parts in many big Bollywood movies, but Kismet Love Paisa Dilli, which came out in 2012, is where he is best known.

I did “Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani,” but then it was a long time before I did anything else. I did a lot of plays with my NDS senior and actor Ishtiyak Khan, as well as with Swanand (Kirire), Tushar, and Manoj Joshi. Even the Khidkiyan Festival, which is now a big deal in Mumbai, was started by us.”

Vishwanath agrees that Beni of “Happu…” was very helpful to him. “I can’t make funny faces or do slapstick! So, we tried to make my character as real as possible so that people could relate to it. It got me into every home and got me the role of “detective” inspector in “Panchayat,” which got me a lot of love.”

He has some good things coming out. “‘Shadow of Othello,’ which Ishtiyak Khan directed and in which Sanjay Mishra also stars, was followed by ‘Pinky Beauty Parlour,’ which has won many awards at different film festivals.
