Perfect Match

Created by Chris Coelen and produced by Kinetic Content, Perfect Match is a reality dating series that premiered on Netflix on February 14, 2023. The show features contestants from other Netflix reality shows who compete in challenges while pairing up to form relationships. The most compatible couples play matchmaker by breaking up other couples and sending them on dates with brand-new singles they’ll invite to the villa. The series is hosted by Nick Lachey. The show has been well received by critics, with many praising its inclusion of three bisexual cast members, which is a departure from the norm in reality dating shows that typically feature only heterosexual couples.

Kariselle and Joey

In the latter part of the season, Joey and Kariselle take their relationship to the next level and decide to get engaged. They even inform Joey’s mother about their engagement, giving it a more authentic feel. Although it’s unclear from Kariselle’s Instagram their current status, Joey’s Instagram account has some posts with Kariselle from 2021, and since they’re not deleted, it’s probable that the couple is still together.

Chloe and Shayne

Despite matching multiple times in Season 1 of Perfect Match, it came as a surprise when Chloe and Shayne ended up together. However, it seems that they are not currently in a relationship. Some fans speculate that Chloe may be seeing her ex, Mitchell, based on their interactions on Instagram, but there is no confirmation from the Perfect Match stars regarding their current relationship status.

LC and Nick

Nick and LC end up together in the finale of Perfect Match almost by chance, as LC arrives late and Nick returns after being eliminated. While they match up and are together at the end of the show, it seems they are no longer a couple now. Given the limited amount of time they had to get to know each other on the show, this outcome is not entirely unexpected.

Bartise and Izzy

Bartise and Izzy are a couple who got together towards the end of the season. It’s possible that if they had connected earlier, they would have had more time to develop a stronger relationship. However, with a guy who has commitment issues and a woman who is unsure about him, it’s not a recipe for a lasting relationship outside of the show.

Dom and Georgia

Despite viewers initially predicting that Kariselle and Joey would win, it was a surprise when Dom and Georgia were announced as the winners of Perfect Match. The couple had gone through many challenges to reach the end. However, it appears that Georgia may now be in a relationship with her Too Hot to Handle ex, Harry Jowsey, while fans are hopeful that Dom and Ines may be dating. Nonetheless, the outcome is not the worst for fans.

Perfect Match Plot

In a tropical villa, 10 individuals who were previously featured on Netflix come together to try and form romantic pairs. They engage in “compatibility challenges,” and the victorious couples receive special private data and the power to introduce two new single contestants into the game. The couples then re-match after all the dates are over, and any contestant without a partner is eliminated from the competition. The show concludes with the selection of one couple as the “Perfect Match.”
