What did Zachariah Anderson do?

New testimonies on March 15 shed light on the potential motives behind the disappearance of Rosalio Gutierrez Jr. and the murder trial of Zachariah Anderson. In May 2020, Rosalio Gutierrez Jr. disappeared, and investigators suspect that Zachariah Anderson, who is currently on trial for the murder, was responsible for his disappearance. According to Kenosha News, Anderson is accused of murdering Gutierrez on May 17, 2020, using blunt force. Investigators suspect that Anderson believed Gutierrez was romantically involved with Sadie Beacham, with whom Anderson has children. During the trial, one of Anderson’s minor children testified that he had ordered her to spy on Gutierrez, who was the father of two young children. Beacham also claimed that Anderson had been harassing her for a prolonged period after she started her relationship with Gutierrez. Although Gutierrez’s body was never found, authorities discovered significant bloodstains in his apartment, leading them to believe that he is deceased.

Who was Rosalio Gutierrez Jr?

Rosalio Gutierrez Jr, also known as “Pocho”, was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, WI. He was born on April 10, 1980, to Selia (Ramirez) and Eugene Patterson Jr. Gutierrez received his education from local schools and later earned degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Gutierrez was a member of Kenosha’s Great Lakes Church. Rosalio Gutierrez Jr, a father of two, was reported missing on May 19, 2020, after Sadie Beacham discovered heavy bloodstains on the floor, door, and furniture in his apartment, with the patio door open. Beacham had been attempting to contact him by phone before going to his apartment as she was concerned about him. Upon seeing the bloodstains, she immediately called the police. Gutierrez’s mother, Selia Patterson, pleaded for information, saying that someone out there knew something. She described her son as a loving father, a good friend, and the best son a mother could ask for. Unfortunately, Gutierrez’s body has yet to be recovered, and his friends and family have not heard from him since his disappearance. Prosecutors believe that Gutierrez is deceased based on the significant amount of blood spatter discovered inside his apartment.

What happened to Zachariah Anderson?

Zachariah Anderson stands accused of using blunt force to murder 40-year-old Rosalio Gutierrez Jr. on May 17, 2020, and has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, a Class A felony that carries a life sentence if he is found guilty. Additionally, he has been charged with hiding a corpse and stalking, both felonies, according to Kenosha News. Prosecutors allege that Anderson killed Gutierrez because he believed he was romantically involved with Sadie, Anderson’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his children. On May 16, 2020, just one day before the alleged murder, Anderson reportedly took his children to his family farm before leaving shortly thereafter. Prosecutors claim that on May 18, the day after the killing, Anderson went to a Saukville Walmart and purchased cleaning wipes, gloves, and a trash bag.
