The role of PC Stephen “Steve” Crane, played by James Carlton. He took part in 35 episodes from 2003 – 2004. He had an investigative smile, and his brushed-back fine black hair looked suitable for his role. Steve Crane’s voice and integrity to clear issues were seen in every programme. At the time of investigation for the disappearance of a six-year-old girl in the episode “Little Angel”, Steve found himself alone on a bridge with the girl and her father.  P.C. In 2004, James Carlton decided to come out from Heartbeat with a commitment to act in other roles. Because he departed from the serial, Steve Crane’s role was killed after he collapsed off a bridge. At that time, ITV gave out an announcement statement publicly announcing his exit from the show, though Lead characters normally stay for around five years.

James Slark, famous as James Carlton is an actor from England. He is famous for playing Jason Kirk in Emmerdale and PC Steve Crane in Heartbeat. He played the role of Jason Kirk from 1999 to 2002. He played 35 episodes as Steve Crane from 2003 to 2004. He has also performed minor roles in Casualty, Merseybeat, At Home with the Braithwaites, Where the Heart Is, Cold Feet, Doctors and Peep Show. He now successfully runs his own Almond and Walnut farm in California.

Steve Crane arrived from Manchester as a fresh-faced to take over as the Aidensfield bobby after Mike Bradley got promoted to CID. He was first seen at Ashfordly Police Station.  Steve Crane also managed to save the dead farmer’s children from being separated with the assistance of Oscar Blaketon and Dr Liz Merrick. He was suspended when a maid at Ashfordly Hall became pregnant and accused Steve was the father of her child, although it was a false accusation.

Heartbeat

Heartbeat is a period drama series from Britain. It is based upon the “Constable” series of novels by Nicholas Rhea. ITV Studios produced this series from 1992 till 2010. This drama series is set during the 1960s around fictional locations in the North Riding of Yorkshire. In this series, most of the episodes concentrate on stories that are separate generally but sometimes they intersect with one another in a few episodes. In this, a singular story takes place, which concentrates on a major incident.
