The fact that it was the first night added to the tension. Some couples, though, including Gabby and Val, Charli and Mark, and Selma and Sasha, excelled. Others weren’t as successful. Following the viewer vote, Jason and Peta and Teresa and Pasha were the bottom two. And in the end, Jason and Peta were the couple who left first. The couple’s cha-cha to Daft Punk’s Get Lucky, a song by Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, didn’t go over well. Following the performance, the judges gave the couple a collective score of 18 out of 40, with evaluations ranging from neutral to negative.

On August 22, DWTS released an official video including prior performances by contestants including Simone Biles, Bindi Irwin, Jojo Siwa, and others. On August 11, the official DWTS and Disney+ Twitter accounts shared this advertisement encouraging viewers to “make your heart dance in a whole new manner” as the show transitions to streaming. This year’s Disney Night will undoubtedly be amazing in every way, it is safe to say.
Where To Watch DWTS 2022?
At 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, Season 31 of DWTS premieres live on Disney+ and is replayed later. Streaming of previous seasons is currently unavailable. Disney+ renewed Dancing With the Stars for two more seasons, and Season 31 is currently available for ad-free streaming this fall. DWTS typically crowns a champion before that date in order to avoid clashing with Season 31, however Disney just revealed that it will debut an ad-supported version of the streaming service on December 8. Disney has not yet decided whether Season 32 will continue to broadcast without ads or revert to its previous business strategy.
